Commissioning Impianti srl offers thanks to the use of the Pitot tube Certified by Giordano institute, a qualified service of water flow measurement trought an open pipe – of known diameter – of any hydraulic system and in specific way of a fire nozzle connected to water delivery fireproof hydraulic plant. According to the gotten results, can be verified if the hydraulic system and fire nozzle were fit to acquit to the preset purposes, or to operate some choices around the insertion in such plant of fire nozzle of optimal diameter in relationship to the speed with which is wanted that the fluid is delivered.
According to the norm UNI 10779 titled: ” Nets of fire hydrants. Engineering Installation and Operation”, the water net fireproof for areas of normal risk, must be able to guarantee a flow, for every fire hydrant to wall DN 45, not lower to 120 l/ min. with a residual pressure not lower in 2 bar, simultaneously considering in operation not less than three fire hydrants in the more hydraulically unfavorable position.
For every fire hydrant to wall DN 25. -read fireproof fire hose- the plant must hydraulically be able to guarantee a flow not less of 35 l/min. with a residual pressure not lower in 2 bar, simultaneously considering in operation not less than four fire hose in the more hydraulically unfavorable position.
For every fire hydrant DN 70 the plant must be able to guarantee a flow, for every fire hydrant, not lower to 300 l/min. with a residual pressure not lower in 2 bar, simultaneously considering in operation not less than four fire hose connected in the more hydraulically unfavorable position.
